Our story

Built in Delta. Trained for the world.

BeeOba Academy began with a simple belief: Nigerian beauty craft deserves world-class training, and Nigerian trainees deserve a pathway to real income.

The beginning

From one shop in Agbarho.

BeeOba Academy started as a working barbershop in Agbarho, Delta State. Our founder kept meeting talented young people who could cut, braid and style — but had no formal qualification, no portfolio and no way to prove their skill to an employer.

So we built the training we wished existed: structured, hands-on, grounded in Nigerian technique, and taught by people who still work the chair every day.

Today, BeeOba runs three campuses — Agbarho and Abraka in Delta State, and Ikeja in Lagos — and has helped over 2,000 graduates step into the industry.

Why students choose us

Training that respects the craft.

  • Master instructors who still work the chair — you learn current technique, not outdated theory.
  • Public student clinics — real clients, real pressure, real confidence.
  • Nigerian technique front and centre — braiding, gele, tribal cuts, African hair textures.
  • Business training built in — pricing, retail, client retention and social media.
  • Portfolio from day one — you leave with evidence, not just a certificate.
  • Three campuses, one standard — flexible study closer to home.
